YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA I don't know if you can tell If I;m excited or not but construction is over..PRAISE THE LORD. Quinten is not moving into this room until some time over the summer. My husband is going to Canada to go fishing for 8 days and mommy is going to have the kids by her self. I think we will wait until daddy gets back from his trip to move. I'm very thankful IT'S ALL DONE.

Some times kids say the funniest things. Quinten is taking achivement tests this week and on Tuesday I picked him up from the test and I asked him "How did it go?"
Quinten's reponds a little suprising to me he said "Mom I would rather clean the toliet with my own toothbruch if I didn't have to do that again." Please pray for Quin he has to test tomarrow. Boys are so funny.

A Very Sweet Sister

At our wonderful church Grace Baptist we have a program called the Sweet Sister. It is a way for the ladies of the church to encourage each other. I know over the years it has been a real blessing to me. As a sweet sister you are to pray for your sister, sit by her if she is alone, and give her little gifts to make her feel special. This time I have a very dear sister named Karen. Karen has me for her sister and this is what she gave me. Isn't that cute. Karen made this. I have this hanging in my kitchen for everyone to see when they come over. The little card has a wonderful little poam Ever time I see this I think about Karen. It warms my heart to watch Karen grow in the Lord. Karen I love you and thank you for all you do for me. I know you are supposed to be praying for me but every time I see this I think and pray for you. Your the best. THANK YOU KAREN for all you have done for me. Lots of Love

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PASTOR DAVE

Happy Bithday Pastor Dave. WE LOVE YOU

Our Trip

We had a wonderful trip!!!!! When we arrived we took a walk through the beautiful gardens. In our room we had a picnic dinner delivered with Barbecue ribs, pasta salad, a fruit tray, cheese and crackers and shrimp with cocktail sauce. After dinner we took a slow drive around the lake. Sam wanted to walk the lake but it way too cold. When we came back from our drive we took a hot bubble bath. Then we wrapped up in the softest robe I had ever felt. We then had chocolate covered strawberries and turtle cheese cake YUM YUM YUM. Sam read our daily Bible reading and off to sleep.

This morning we woke up to coffee, four different kinds of juice, home made monkey bread and fresh quick breads. We also had fresh fruit, homemade waffles and bagels. If you wanted you could have cold cereal or hard boiled eggs. After breakfast I was able to do a little shopping. If your ever in Lake Geneva you have to check out Maggies's its a village of wonderful shopping (like Long Grove). We had a great weekend getaway and a wonderful time. The food was good the room was great and I think the company was priceless. Thank You so much honey for taking me away. I am a very blessed lady to be married to the best man for me in the world for 19 years. I LOVE YOU.

P.s. On our way home we saw a sign for Sharon Wisconsin. We hust had to go buy and get a picture of it. For those of you who don't know that is my mom's first name Sharon. We love you mom

Fun at Cantigny

As you can see everyone had a wonderful time at the park on Friday. Thank You Miss Gina for all your hard work to make it happen, it was so much fun. Gina your the best!!!!

Lot of Fun and Lots of Work

There has been so much happening lately. All day yesterday we had the honor and privilege of playing at the Lindahl's. My camera was not with me for this event so I guess I broke a blogger rule. I'm so so sorry. The good news is Kim had hers and if your truly interested she has a sweet slide show with lots of fun proof.

YEA YEA we are dust FREE. Construction is coming to a close and the sawing is finished. My Very Sweet WONDERFUL friend helped me dust and clean my basement from top to bottom. After four hours and two hot and sweaty girls the basement is beautiful. While all the cleaning was going on the kids made a oil refinery with just paper. The refinery is 3D. I thought that it was amazing. I might be a little bias but I think that James, Jenna, and Quinten are very creative kids. They had a blast. Thank you Gina for all your help I love you.

We went out for dinner for family night. I'm in shock that my two year old daughter is organised. After dinner Paige could not eat all her dinner. When they brought her the take home box she insisted that she was going to put her own dinner in the box. She just killed me how she would not let the nuggets touch the fries. She had everything sorted and stacked neatly in the box. She was not happy when I dumped the extra chips on her box. I guess even my two year old likes order and beauty.

I am so excited tomorrow we are getting away for our anniversary. We are going just for night but it is going to be awesome. I have a basket of all my husbands favorite snacks and we are having a picnic when we get to our room. I thank the Lord so much for a loving husband and 19 years of marriage.
I haven't packed yet and tomorrow is the homeschool field trip and then we leave. So THANK YOU LORD for such a good life.

Details are Sometimes Very Important

For the past week I not been feeling well at all. The doctor had given me a new medication and EVERY time I would take it I would become very sick. My blood sugar has been very high causing me to use way to much insulin and causing me to gain more weight. This had made me very frustrated and very discouraged about my health. PRAISE THE LORD this morning I faxed my blood sugars to the doctor and she was able to help me. She changed the time of my medication and she REDUCED my insulin in take. My blood sugar is better and the new medication is actually working properly . The small detail of the time the medication was given made all the difference in the world. This reminds me of God and how he cares for the details of our lives. Some times He requires that we make "SMALL" adjustments in our lives to please Him more. These adjustments are not always easy but they make a world of difference. I know just changing the time of the medication made a world for difference for me. I pray that you and I are willing to make spiritual adjustment daily (or sometimes hourly)that please the Lord. OH bye the way , one of the side effects of this drug is supposed to be weight loss......? I guess we will see.

Catching up with a old friend "THE BLOG"

I feel like I have not posted to the blog in a month. There has been so much going on that I have greeted my self at the door. I hope I can catch everyone on the household happenings. First we have a mommy that has laid four sweet little eggs in the light on our deck. Yesterday the babies hatched. Our kids are so excited they spend their days "talking" to the mommy robin. Quin reassures the bird that no one is going to hurt her babies. Paige tries to catch the mommy I guess she thinks that a robin would make a good pet. My husband can't wait until the babies are gone so he can clean up the deck. I personally think that the whole thing is pretty cute. I love how children watch and enjoy nature. My kids have learned more and have had more fun watching these bird than they ever would have had watching TV or even reading a book. The whole thing has been one of life's little blessings to me. Thank You Lord for your sweet little blessings.

I'm SO Excited

I can't believe that this is actually happening. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I have waited for this day for ever. We finally have the time and the money, tomorrow morning at 7:00am my bedroom is going to be painted. I can hardly wait. It is going to be a lilac color. (anyone that can is allowed to came and see it). I have been collecting deep purple and lilac accessories for about a year now. It is going to be so much fun to redecorate the room. Every thing has been deep cleaned and when Bill Lindhal is done it is going to be beautiful. I 'm looking for a comforter and pillow shams in the purple family and I need drapes that will work in that room as well. I also welcome any suggestion from anyone that has decorating ideas that they want to share. We have had the old bed ensemble for the last eight years. I will post pictures as soon as possible. I have a wonderful husband that is working so hard to make everything so nice for me. Thank y0u honey. I love you so much. I'm so excited. I can hardly wait.

The Question Game

1. What was your most embarrassing moment?
When I was in high school I went to camp and went bike riding on a busy road and I fell off the bike (because the seat was too high)and personal things fell out of my back pack . My male friend that I was riding with did not know wether to direct traffic or help me pick them up. At the tender age of fifteen I thought that I was going to die on the spot.

2. When you get to heaven some day what will you ask God?
I know we can't be married in heaven, but could I please have a mansion close to my husband's

3. What is your favorite color?
Purple or lilac

4. What is your favorite food?
If popcorn is food and not a snack I pick popcorn

5. What do you admire most about your husband?
He is a peacemaker and a great provider

6. What is your biggest fear or phobia?
My biggest fear is that the Lord will take my husband before He is ready for me too.

I tag Kina and Trish and Karen

A Day of Suprises

Well nothing today has gone as planned. My husband got called into work. As much as our family loves overtime that was not what we had planned. I decided that I would take the kids and go to the all church work day myself. I got up, got dressed, started a load of laundry and started breakfest. As the kids and I sat down to eat I smelled smoke. It smelled like rubber burning. I went into the laundry room and there was smoke (lots of it) comming out of my washer. I turnred the washer off and called my husband at work. Sam said that it was ok to call a repair man. I took the phone book and called Mario's Applience Repair in Plainfield. I could not believe my ears Mario said that he was right around the corner and that he would be right over. By 10:10am My "NEW" friend Mario was out getting parts for my washer. At 11:00am he was back and fixing my washer. I am very thankful for three things:

1. Mario was able to fix my washer today and I didn't have to wait or be without it very long

2. I have a WONDERFUL husband that puts money away for occuations like this $160.00

3. Mairo was open to the Gospel and said that he will try to come to church for Mother's Day and bring his wife with him.

I was dissipointed that the Todd family missed the all church work day. I guess God had other plans for us today. Please pray for Mario. He was not ready to get saved todat but praise the Lord another seed was planted. Our God is in control of even the planns that we make weather we like it or not. Thank Lord for my Husband, My family and today for my washer and dryer.
