Monday we went to the zoo. We were all so excited. Daddy took the day off , we graped cousin Kimberly and off we went. It was a very hot day, but the zoo was so much fun that no one seemed to care. Thank You Miss Kim for the free passes you are so sweet to share them with us. Here are some pictures to share with you.
It is a busy week at the Todd house. Daddy will be taking us to Six Flags Great America after soulwinning on Saturday. This is the yearly company "family day" at Six Flags and daddy is required to be there. Quin is very excited about this weekend. We need to be at the park by three o'clock. It will be a very busy day.
Tomarrow we have a play date as well. I'm thankful my house is caught up today. The rest of the week is bust. I hope all is going well for everyone. I look forward to getting caught up on the blogging world.

7 Things That I Learned
I have been tagged to think about the seven things that I have learned. One would think at forty one years old I would have learned a lot more than I know now but here are my seven:
1. I have learned that serving the Lord as a Sunday School teacher along side of my husband is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Watching my husband grow in the Lord through our class has thrilled my heart beyond words. PRAISE THE LORD
2. I have learned that it is not always easy to be forty one, diabetic and have a two year old. I love her with all my heart but there is a reason people have babies in their twenties.
3. I have learned that the older I get the more rest that I need even if things are not done as I want them to be.
4. I have learned that staying at home and in my role has been very fulfilling and pleasing to the Lord and my family.
5. I have learned that the older I get the harder it is too loose weight.
6. I have learned that walking with the Lord DAILY or some times hourly is the best way to get through the day. I can handle anything that comes my way with the Lord's strengh and power.
7.. I have learned that there are things that I can not change weather I like it or not. Trying to control the situation does not change it , it only makes it worse. The only answer is to give it to God and let go.
There are many more things that I have learned. I would say that this is the top seven. This little exercise makes you think. Try it you might be surprised what you come up with.

Thankful for Family
Today my sister-inlaw came over and watched the kids so I could get some errands done and be by myself for a little while. I went to Wal-Mart, Starbucks. and Kohels. At Koehls I quickly ran through the sale rack for kids clothes. I was very excited about what I found. We bought a new suit and some dress pants for Quin. Some modest shorts and some new socks. Paige got two new dresses and a skirt and dress for the fourth of July. When I checked out at Kohels the checker asked me of I wanted a scratch and save card. I of course said yes and I got 30% off my whole order. Praise the Lord!!!!! I got dress pants for Quin for $6.00, the suit for $18.00 and Paige's dresses for $7.00 each. Praise the Lord for a good sale. The day sums up something like this:
$44.00 Kohels (debit Master Card)
$94.00 Walmart (debit Master Card)
$6.93 Starbucks (debit Master Card)
$50.00 Mobil Gas (debit Master Card)
A MORNING OUT AWAY FOR THE KIDS (BY MY SELF) PRICELESS
It was a blessing to be out this morning alone and too renew and refresh. Tonight Gina and I are going out for dinner and that will be fun as well. The kids and I are counting the days until Saturday when daddy comes home. We can't wait.

Friendly Blessings
I have a PRAISE. I have a PRAISE. The Lord is so good to me. He has provided a money saving blessing. Miss Linda is such a blessing to me in many ways but today she was a extra blessing. Miss Linda has offerd to cut my dog's nails for me. Eddie (the dog) loves Linda and so do I. Dog gromming is a big business and Miss Linda is saving us so much money. All I have to do is have a sweet friend over for lunch. I think I got the better end of the deal. Thank You Miss Linda for all you do especially Eddie's nails.

Pretty as a Picture
Yesterday was so much fun Gina came over and we decorated my room. This is a beautiful lamp that was my Grandmothers. I don't really know how old it is. My bedroom is purple at it goes perfect with my new room. The bowl is something that Gina gave me for my birthday last year, I think it is so beautiful that it takes my breath away. Thank you Gina I love you. I will post more pics of my room later. It is coming together nicely. Thank You Lord for all the "LITTLE" blessing in my life. God is so good. I'm excited my bedroom is soooo beautiful.

Trying to get Caught up
Whew~~~~ It has been quite the week around here. Daddy is in Canada fishing with Mr.Lindahl and everyone cries their selves to sleep at night (including daddy). Paige doesn't understand his truck is here but he is not. Quin cries mostly when it is time to go to bed and feels he has to sleep in my room to protect me at night. Then daddy cries when he calls home at night. Dad has never left us before so this is a real adjustment. He is having a wonderful time. The guys are catching lots of fish and he has seen moose and elk. They have a bald eagle nesting right by their window of their room. Mr. Lindahl and daddy are having a great time but Saturday night can't come soon enough for the kids and I.
*****************
My washer broke down just before the guys left for Canada and its been quite an adventure getting a new one. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday morning and the delivery truck had an accident and I had to wait until Saturday. The one that came on Saturday made lots of strange noises and leaked all over the floor. This morning the guy that delivered the new washer and didn't have to tools to install it. The washer is here and I'm VERY thankful. God has been so good to our family. I'm thankful every day for His provision. He has poured out His blessing every day. Thank You Lord for being so good to us even though we don't deserve it.
