I had a WONDERFUL birthday. I'm part of the best church on the planet. I have been very overwhelmed by the love that I was shown on my birthday. All the phone calls, the encouragement and the love has been a real blessing. Thank you to all of you for every thing you have given me. I love you all.
Last night we had a great home school meeting. Miss Julie works so hard on our meeting and all the work is greatly appreciated. We talked about all the fun things that we have planned for the rest of the year. We also learned that playing games is important and a good learning experience for everyone. My husband took me out to dinner before the meeting and my birthday ended a great day.
My son and I went to the dentist today and Quin is being referred to a orthodontist. He is very nervous about the idea of braces. Pray that all goes well with that. (mom and dad are concerned about the bill for that one). The Lord is in control and I know that it will all work out with His help. We look forward to getting back to normal this week. Birthdays, doctor, and dentist have put us a little behind. May the Lord bless your day.

Ahhh yes, braces....the adventure begins! It's not as bad as everyone says...but I will pray for you as you embark on this new phase in your son's life. Just a tip -- when he is going to have them adjusted, a bit of Tylenol just before the visit seems to help after -- but by Day 2, he'll forget he even went to the ortho. They do braces in much less time nowadays, start to finish -- it's all so much easier!

Glad to hear you had a great birthday!!! There is an excellent orthodontist not far from where you live.....he works w/ all ages~ very friendly~ his staff is nice too.
