I had a very sweet act of kindness done for me this morning. About five weeks ago I went to the Shoe Carnival in Woodridge and I found the shoes I needed to go with the dress for the up coming wedding. The problem at that time was that they didn't have the shoes I needed in the size that I needed. (It is not easy to find navy blue shoes anywhere right now). At that time I ordered my correct size from the Orland Park store to be sent to the Joilet store. It had been several weeks and I still didn't hear about the shoes making it to the Joliet store. This morning I called and was told that no one knew anything about the order. The manager at the Joilet store called the Woodridge store and found out that the Orland manger never sent the shoes in the first place. Then without being asked Lindsey (from the Woodridge) called and said that she will be visiting her sister in Indiana and would go to pick up my shoes and would drive them to Joilet herself. I was overwhelmed with her kindness and I will be getting her a small gift card and a salvation tract and I will deliver to her next week. Pray that the tract will have an impact on her life. You never know what the Lord has planned, but I do know that Lindsey saved the day for me and I'm very thankful for her kindness.

Mix ups.. we certainly could do without them, but I am so glad to hear you will be getting your shoes! I will pray that she gets saved.
That was very kind of that lady. Sometimes I think God puts kind people in our path just to be a blessing to us.
Wow, beautiful blog colors!
