I can't believe that it's Sunday again. The weeks just fly by. I'm sorry the Bears lost but they did a good job to make it this far.
I would like to change the American calender. I would like to have just one more day is the weekend. The kids and I are not ready for daddy to have to go back to work all ready tomorrow. I'm not ready for school tomorrow and I'm not ready for Grandpa to come back to work on the basement. Maybe we can make tomorrow the extended week end. I know I say that every Sunday night. If I keep trying it might work.
Today was a wonderful day at church. Pastor gave us a stern morning message and tonight was even more convicting. We taught Sunday School (my husband and I just love our Sunday School kids) For a change of pace we can home from church and brought in KFC (high in fat but oh so good). Quick easy lunch and off for a wonderful afternoon nap.
As most people know my daughter is learning to talk. My husband has been so proud of himself for the last couple of months because Paige will say "DADDY". When she refers to me it has only been "MAMA". Well today she did it for the first time she said "MOMMY" That might not sound like much to some people but today you could have given me a million dollars and that would not mean as much to me as "MOMMY". I waited 11 years to hear those words and then God blessed us with a son. Now my very own daughter is calling me mommy, that just thrills my heart. Paige came to us in a special way and I know that the Lord picked her out just for us. Maybe some day I will sit down and tell the whole story of how Paige came to us. It's awesome !! From a mother praying to a Biblical Gideon Fleece. God gave us that beautiful baby girl. Thank You Lord she calls me "MOMMY"

"Mommy" is fabulous!
Eleven years? Wow.
Praise the Lord for your blessings. And by the way, I claim Monday as my own day of rest!
I agree that Mommy is one of the sweetest words! I'm glad Paige has you to call Mommy!
