I am reading a very good book called Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit. by Teri Maxwell. Teri has eight children and has been homeschooling since 1985. The book talks about your personal relationship with God. Without DAILY prayer and Bible reading this spirit of meekness can not be obtained. She also talks about fear and worry. She has a chapter on disorganization.(very helpful). There is a chapter on dying to self (very convicting) and gratitude and contentment with a smile. The book concludes with a chapter on the power a homeschooling mother can have with a meek and quiet spirit. I would recommend this book to anyone who is or wants to homeschool. The Lord has really used this book to show me personally some things that I need to improve in my home and school life. I have suggested that we get this book for our homeschool library. I'm almost finished with it if anyone else would like to read it just let me know.
